BIO
Leander “Lee” Dixon is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of The King Law Group, LLC. He leads the firm’s operations, finances, technology, and brand so its attorneys can focus on clients and their families.
Lee joined the firm in 2022 as Practice Manager and was promoted to Executive Director and COO in 2023. He works directly with Managing Partner Jessica G. King on strategy, growth, and long-range planning.
At The King Law Group, Lee has:
- Built firm-wide systems and standards, including a centralized template hub, matter trackers, a docket-notification process, and task checklists for paralegals and legal assistants.
- Led the firm’s rebrand, including its new logo, letterhead, and website, and directs its search, digital, and streaming-television marketing.
- Strengthened financial operations, including trust-account reconciliation, receivables reporting, client payment plans, and monthly financial reporting.
- Led attorney and staff recruiting, onboarding, and development.
Lee began his career in the United States Marine Corps as Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of a Supply Accounting Division. He accounted for more than $130 million in annual aviation supply assets and trained more than 100 personnel.
His career also spans finance, compliance, and operations leadership. He has served as a Global Financial Crimes Compliance Investigator at JPMorgan Chase, in ultra-high-net-worth client service at Morgan Stanley, as Program Manager at Big Lots headquarters, and as Director of Finance & Operations for Hunter Marketing. His experience includes anti-money-laundering investigations, SEC and SOX reporting, risk management, and enterprise program management.
