After earning her degree in Sustainability from Baldwin Wallace University, where she received the prestigious recognition of Valedictorian, she pursued her passion for advocacy and law at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law..
During her time at Moritz, she earned certificates in Alternative Dispute
Resolution and Juvenile Justice and received a CALI Award in Alternative
Dispute Resolution in recognition of her excellence in the field.
Throughout law school, Sarah demonstrated a strong commitment to child welfare and family law by serving as a Guardian ad Litem with Franklin County CASA, where she represented the best interests of abused and neglected children in court proceedings. She also gained valuable
experience as an extern with the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Dispute Resolution and
Domestic Violence Programs, further developing her skills in conflict resolution.
Sarah has practiced family law exclusively since earning her law degree. She began her career at Behal Duvall Law Group and joined The King Law Group, LLC in 2005 as an Associate Attorney. Her practice includes amicable dissolutions, complex divorce litigation, post decree custody matters, and Guardian ad Litem work. Additionally, Sarah has experience drafting estate planning documents for her clients.
Sarah is particularly passionate about helping families navigate difficult transitions in a way that minimizes conflict and prioritizes both financial stability and emotional well-being. She takes a client centered approach, tailoring her legal strategies to the unique needs of each
family or individual she serves.
Outside of her legal practice, Sarah is deeply involved in her community. She is particularly passionate about her philanthropic work with Families Flourish and she enjoys spending time with her wife, children and two dogs.
