BIO
Sarah has dedicated her career to serving families and has worked in the field of family law since before earning her Juris Doctor. Her commitment to child welfare began prior to law school, when she served as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children. She later attended The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she continued to strengthen her skills in mediation and conflict resolution through an externship with the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Dispute Resolution and Domestic Violence Programs.
After graduating from Moritz, Sarah began her legal career at a firm specializing in high-asset divorce cases before joining The King Law Group. She brings a client centered approach to every matter and is known for her ability to guide families through difficult transitions in a way that reduces conflict and supports long term financial and emotional stability. Her strategies are tailored to the unique needs of each client, whether the case requires negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
Sarah also brings a personal understanding of the challenges faced by LGBTQ families. After she and her wife navigated a custody dispute, she developed a special interest in supporting LGBTQ individuals and families as they work to protect their parental rights and family relationships. This experience deepened her commitment to providing informed, empathetic, and strategic representation to clients whose family structures may not fit traditional expectations.
She is a trusted advocate who represents individuals and families in divorce, custody, and related domestic relations matters with clarity, compassion, and strong legal advocacy. Her practice includes amicable dissolutions, complex divorce litigation, post decree custody matters, and Guardian ad Litem appointments. She also assists clients with estate planning and the preparation of essential planning documents.
Clients value Sarah for her thoughtful communication, her ability to explain complex issues clearly, and her steady, solutions-focused advocacy. She is committed to helping clients move forward with confidence and a clear plan for the future.
